Secret Shine - No More Inside/Perfect Life

No one told us that veteran shoegaze/dreampop band Secret Shine were back together and put out a new album last year! Still, better late than never, we're pleased to report that the Bristolians new record 'The Beginning & The End' is available now and sounds fantastic. You can pick up a couple of free tracks from it - 'No More Inside' and 'Perfect Life' - as well as some live stuff by heading here.

Tashaki Miyaki - Get It Right

The new EP from Tashaki Miyaki was was released at the end of 2011 on UK indie label The Sounds Of Sweet Nothing, and you can now download fuzzy EP track 'Get It Right' for free. The Jesus & Mary Chain get brought up a lot when mentioning this band and listening to the blend of distorted guitars, basic drum pounds and girl-group melody it's easy to see why.

Good Dangers - Abigail

Good Dangers are definitely a band to look out for. You can read a more in-depth piece about them on our sister blog The Found Of Confusion. In short - they're a five-piece from London who've recorded a load of tracks in their home studio (well, their living room) and they have a great indie/pop sound and the quality of tunes to match it. We Need Secrets - Purple

The thirst for distorted guitars doesn't seem to be decreasing and the shoegaze revival is, if anything, gaining strength. We Need Secrets is the solo guise of Chad Peck from Canadian band Kestrels. He'll be releasing a new single in a few weeks but in the mean time treat yourself to a free track from his most recent single, the double a-side of 'Slow Summer' and 'Purple'.
